What we actually use

SaveSmart currently sets no tracking cookies. We use a small amount of essential browser storage (local storage) that the site needs to work:

• Sign-in session — keeps you logged in to your account.
• Saved deals on this device — remembers your favourites if you browse without an account.
• Cookie preferences — remembers the consent choice you made so we don't keep asking.

These are strictly necessary for the service you ask us to provide, so they do not require consent under PECR. They stay on your device and are not used to track you across other websites.

Analytics and marketing

We do not currently run any analytics or marketing cookies. Our website hosting counts visits in aggregate without setting cookies on your device. If we add analytics or marketing tools in the future, they will only switch on after you give consent through the cookie banner or Cookie Settings, and this policy will be updated to name them. Third-party sites

When you follow a link to a retailer or an affiliate network, that site may set its own cookies. Those are governed by the third party's own cookie policy, not this one.

Managing your choices

You can change your cookie preferences at any time: open Cookie Settings. You can also clear cookies and site data through your browser settings.
